These quiz victories would be embarrassing – if we were given to being embarrassed, that is!
Last night saw the Dream Team of John, Shirley, Kelvin, Caroline, Margaret, Angela and Chris clean up at the Church Quiz Night. Not even Pat Maltman’s deviously cryptic questions fazed them. Who but Pat would have thought up the following:

…and who but The Stumblers would have recognised these as the initials of the Big Four railway companies in reverse? There’s a fine line between being clever and being just sad!
Anyway, the whole event raised around £400 for church funds, everybody had a good night out, and we carried home (almost) as much booze as we drank, so well done to the Maltmans for organising it.
